One of our cat-owning blog friends had a heated cat cup for her cat. I always thought that having a heated cat cup for your cat to sleep in meant that you had more money than you knew what to do with. But I can now say that we own not one, but two, cat beds!
Admittedly it's to prevent cruelty to animal charges because Bitey and Lucy are now banished to the sunroom because of their three-year peeing spree. With the temperatures dropping, it seemed only fair to give them some heat source in the sunroom.
All day yesterday I peeked out to see if Lucy was in the cup. She's the cold one, always looking to climb into covers and stretch out in front of a heat source. I looked out, saw ears in the cup and thought "finally Lucy!" Then I realized it was Bitey. Lucy was curled up BESIDE her cup. Let's hope she figures it out and that I didn't waste $80 for the cold cat to be cold!
